I had a short visit to Kuala Lumpur in September, and I was searching for some local stories which I could make a film about. I stumbled upon a zero-waste shop in Damansara Kim called Kitarefill. Through their social media, I got to know Peng, who runs a mobile stall to promote the zero-waste lifestyle in Klang Valley. I was drawn by her van which neatly houses all sorts of detergents and cleaning agents. After our initial talk, I knew that I had to make a film about her.
The next week, I spent an afternoon following Peng to her work and back home, discovering the reason behind why she is running this business.
